The Wetherby Cranberry Company invites you and your group to experience a
truly unique tour in Cranberry Country. Located only a few minutes from
Interstate 94 and only 4 1/2 miles East of Warrens on County EW, Wetherby is
easy to find and in the heart of Cranberry Country.
The Wetherby Cranberry Company sets aside one day a year for the
general public to come and see a FREE demonstration of Cranberries being
harvested. There is no admission or reservations required and fresh
cranberries will be available to be purchased. The Public Cranberry
Harvest Day is held the first Saturday in October from 9:00am to 12:00 pm.
Family members will be present to explain how cranberries are grown,
harvested and packaged as well as answering any questions that you may have
about the cranberry industry. Please come and see first hand the
unique process of cranberries being harvested.
Wetherby Cranberry Group Tours
The Wetherby Cranberry Company also offers guided tours of the
cranberry marsh and harvest (in season) to your bus group or school group.
Reservations are required and there is a small fee per person to take these
private group tours. These are great field trip opportunities for schools
and great learning experiences for people of any age. On these private
group tours (approximately one hour in length) you will walk through a guided
tour of seeing cranberries harvested (if in season) as well as the sorting
and packaging warehouse. For further information contact Jim or Nodji
VanWychen at (608) 378-4813.
